Description
These articles contain both halves of the connection — cable plug and cable socket — under one part number. If you need a complete separation point, you order one line instead of two.
When a set makes sense
Where a separation point is planned as a whole, the set removes the need to keep two lines in step: pole count, contact arrangement and locking are guaranteed to match, and stock holds one number instead of two that can drift apart. Where the two halves are fitted in different places or needed in different quantities, the individual articles are the better choice.
Technical data
As for the individual articles in the series: 17.5 A at 400 V AC, bayonet locking, protection rating IP66 and IP68, cable diameter 7 to 13.5 mm, termination via M3 screws at 0.8 Nm.
Pole counts and contact marking
Sets are available 3, 5 and 6-pole. The protective earth counts as a pole: 3-pole is L-N-E, 5-pole 1-2-L-N-E and 6-pole 1-2-3-L-N-E. Techno offers the 2 and 8-pole versions as individual articles only.
