    Description

    The TH384 series joins two leads to each other — both halves sit on the cable, there is no panel mounting. Conductors are secured with hex socket screws (M2, 0.2 Nm). The series is rated 10 A at 500 V AC with an impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV.

    Reversed contacts

    This version is the mirror image: the pin contacts sit in the cable plug (Ø 27 × 63 mm), the socket contacts in the cable socket (Ø 26.5 × 55 mm). When unmated, the sockets therefore sit in the coupling half.

    Which side stays live in operation decides the choice. The rule of thumb: the touchable pins belong on the side that is dead once disconnected. Techno offers the other arrangement as the standard version.

    Pole counts

    With screw termination, 2, 3 and 5-pole versions are available. Conductor cross-section runs from 0.25 to 2.5 mm², cable diameter from 7 to 12 mm.

    Protection and materials

    Protection rating is IP66 and IP68, impact resistance IK07. The housing is glass-fibre reinforced plastic, the contacts brass. Contact marking 1-2-3-4-5.
