Description
The UP version of the TH406 panel-mount series is the Industrial variant: same M28 mounting and same mating face as the standard series, but rated for larger conductor cross-sections.
What the UP version is for
On cross-section, the 2-pole version goes to 6 mm² and the 3-pole to 4 mm². That is the difference that matters when more current has to pass through the enclosure wall at the same voltage, or when the cable is sized up for length.
Panel mounting with M28
It mounts from the front with an M28 thread and lock nut. The mating face stays outside, the termination side sits inside the enclosure.
Mating part
It mates with the UP cable versions of the TH405 series for cables from 10 to 16.5 mm — same bayonet locking, same contact arrangements, at matching pole count.
Pole counts
2, 3 and 5-pole versions are available. The protective earth counts as a pole.
