Description

The TH406 series is the panel-mount version of the TeePlug: it takes the same connection as the TH405 through an enclosure wall. It is rated 17.5 A at 400 V AC at protection rating IP68.

Panel mounting with M28

It mounts from the front with an M28 thread and lock nut. The mating face stays outside, the termination side sits inside the enclosure, where conductors clamp with M3 screws at 0.8 Nm, cross-section 0.5 to 1.5 mm².

Which half goes where?

The panel plug carries the pin contacts, the panel socket the socket contacts. Which of the two belongs in the enclosure depends on which side stays live once disconnected: the touchable pins belong on the dead side.

Mating part

It mates with the cable versions of the TH405 series — same bayonet locking, same contact arrangements. The panel plug takes the cable socket, the panel socket takes the cable plug, each at matching pole count.

Pole counts and contact marking

2, 3, 5, 6 and 8-pole versions are available. The protective earth counts as a pole: 2-pole is L-N, 3-pole L-N-E, 5-pole 1-2-L-N-E, 6-pole 1-2-3-L-N-E and 8-pole 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-E.
