Description
The TH386 series is the panel half for the TH384 cable connection. The connector sits in the enclosure wall, its mating part goes on the cable. The connection is rated 16 A at 400 V AC with an impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV, protection rating IP67.
Mounting
Maximum panel thickness is 5.00 mm — more than on the TH385. Mated, the connection measures Ø 27.0 × 72.0 mm. The mating interface itself is the same as on the TH385.
Which half goes where?
The panel plug with male contacts mates with the TH384 cable socket, the panel socket with female contacts with the TH384 cable plug — at matching pole counts. The termination method of the two halves combines freely: a piercing-terminated panel half can be mated with a screw or crimp cable half.
Pole counts and termination
2 and 3-pole versions are available. Conductors are terminated with a piercing screw: the screw pierces the conductor insulation, so stripping is not required. Conductor cross-section runs from 0.5 to 2.5 mm².
Materials
The plastic parts are black, the sealing elements Techno green, the contacts brass.
