Description
The TH385 series is the panel half for the TH384 cable connection. The connector sits in the enclosure wall, its mating part goes on the cable. The connection is rated 16 A at 400 V AC with an impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV, protection rating IP68.
Mounting with M25 thread
This version mounts with an M25 thread and the fixing nut supplied. Maximum panel thickness is 3.00 mm and the outlet is straight. Mated, the connection measures Ø 27.0 × 72.0 mm.
Which half goes where?
The panel plug with male contacts mates with the TH384 cable socket, the panel socket with female contacts with the TH384 cable plug — at matching pole counts. The termination method of the two halves combines freely: a screw-terminated panel half can be mated with a crimp or piercing cable half.
Pole counts and termination
With M25 thread, 2 and 3-pole versions are available, contact marking L-N and L-N-E. Conductors clamp with M3 screws at 0.8 Nm; cross-section runs from 0.5 to 2.5 mm².
Materials
The plastic parts are black, the sealing elements Techno green, the contacts brass.
The same panel half is also available with an M20 thread, as a 90° version and with crimp and piercing termination. We assemble other configurations to order. Get in touch.
